Maharashtra: Flood waters recede in Chandrapur

Chandrapur ( Maharashtra) July 10 ( UNI) Floodwaters have started to recede in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district, parts of which had been submerged following heavy rains, with thousands of hectares of cropland inundated,
In Brahmapuri taluka, eight villages were affected due to the rising waters of the Wainganga River.
While the floodwaters have started to recede and the situation is gradually returning to normal, the Brahmapuri-Armori road still remains closed due to waterlogging.
