Maharashtra: Daytime heat rises as dry conditions persist

Mumbai, Feb 9 (UNI) Weather conditions across Maharashtra are gradually shifting towards warmer days, with heat intensity increasing during daytime hours. Bright sunshine is causing a sense of humidity and discomfort in the afternoons, while mornings and evenings continue to remain comparatively pleasant.
The Meteorological Department has indicated that there is no possibility of rainfall in the state over the next five to seven days and dry weather is expected to prevail, with no major change in maximum temperatures.
In several parts of the state, maximum temperatures have risen by around two to three degrees Celsius.
