Maharaja Trophy Season 3 kicks off with doubleheader Thursday

Bengaluru, Aug 14 (UNI) The third season of the Shriram Capital Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, powered by FanCode, is set to commence with a thrilling doubleheader at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday.
The opening match of the season will feature Devdutt Padikkal’s Gulbarga Mystics taking on Mayank Agarwal’s Bengaluru Blasters. The action will continue with the Shivamogga Lions, led by Nihal Ullal, clashing against the Mysore Warriors, captained by Karun Nair, in the second fixture of the day.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Luvnith Sisodia, representing the Gulbarga Mystics this year, expressed optimism about the team’s prospects. “We have a very strong squad heading into the competition, and I believe we are well-prepared to make a significant impact,” said Sisodia. He also highlighted his anticipation for his partnership with Padikkal. “Devdutt and I have batted together extensively. We understand each other’s game, and we’re looking forward to contributing together.”
