Maha: Unseasonal rains destroy 27,000 hectares of agricultural crops

Nashik, May 19 (UNI) Unseasonal rains over the past ten days have damaged agricultural crops over 27,000 hectares in Maharashtra, with several districts affected. Amravati has faced the worst damage, with 13,000 hectares of agricultural crops damaged.
Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate said that about 5,850 hectares of agricultural crops have been damaged in Nashik.
A pre-kharif season meeting was organised at the Niyojan Bhawan of the District Collector's Office in Nashik.
