Maha: Union Minister Naidu urges youth to join politics for developed India

Pune, Feb 9 (UNI) Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, on Sunday underscored the need for more young leaders in Indian politics during his address at the 14th Indian Student Parliament here.
Addressing a gathering of young delegates from across the country at the third session of Student Parliament, he highlighted the importance of having educated and ethical candidates in politics for a better future.
He reminded the audience that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated the country needs one lakh young representatives in the legislature.

Mumbai, Dec 6 (UNI) In a survey conducted by C-Voter to identify the most trusted leader in the eyes of the public, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has secured the top position with a significant lead over other leaders. According to the survey, 35 percent of the public expressed trust in Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, placing him firmly in the first spot.

Mahaparinirvan Diwas 2025: Maharashtra leaders pay tributes to Dr B R Amberdkar on 69th death annivarsary

Mumbai, Dec 6 (UNI) Maharashtra’s senior political leadership visited Chaitya Bhoomi in Dadar on Saturday to pay homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and Governor Ramesh Bais offered floral tributes at the memorial. Opposition leaders also participated, with NCP founder Sharad Pawar and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray visiting the site to honor the architect of the Indian Constitution.

Maha: Ban imposed on laser lights near airport, police issue safety order

Ch. Sambhajinagar, Dec 6 (UNI) Police Commissioner Praveen Pawar has issued an order prohibiting the use of laser and beam lights at farm houses, wedding ceremonies and other social programmes near the airport falling under the jurisdiction of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Police Commissionerate.
