Maha: Two coaches of empty local train derail at Mumbai Central station

Mumbai, Oct 13 (UNI) Two coaches of an empty Mumbai local train derailed while entering Mumbai Central on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 1230 hours, however, no injury was reported, as the rake was not carrying any passengers at the time of incident.
Following the derailment, local train services, which are considered as lifeline of the city, were disrupted on the slow track from Churchgate to Mumbai Central.
Later, the railway authorities diverted incoming trains to the fast line for continued operations.
"This swift response has helped to minimise delays and maintain service continuity," said an official of WR.
