Maha: Two arrested for illegal transportation of goats

Mumbai, Apr 26 (UNI) Police arrested two people for illegally transporting 412 goats in a highly inhumane manner in neighbouring Thane city, police said on Saturday.
Based on a complaint by animal rights activist, a team of Kasarvadavli police station arrested Imtiaz Abdul Multani (47) and Multani Sharif Gafoor (31), who had brought these animals from Gujarat and were proceeding towards Mumbai.
The animals were housed in two trucks without access to food, water and ventilation.
