Maha to be made ‘DJ’-free, implement Solapur pattern in state: Minister

Nagpur, Dec 14 (UNI) The illegal use of DJs is widespread in Maharashtra, causing considerable inconvenience to citizens.
During a brief discussion in the Legislative Council on Sunday, BJP’s Shrikant Bharatiya urged the state government to adopt the ‘DJ-free city’ model, successfully implemented in Solapur, across Maharashtra, effectively banning the use of DJs throughout the state.
Bharatiya highlighted that rising noise pollution is troubling residents and adversely affecting public health. In Solapur, the concept of a ‘DJ-free city’ has been implemented successfully, with DJs completely prohibited in all religious programs and processions.
