Maha: Three tourists drown in backwaters of irrigation dam in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, May 30 (UNI) In a tragic incident, three tourists, including two women, drowned in the backwaters of irrigation dam at Olvan-Bhatwadi area in Radhanagari tehsil of this district on Thursday.
According to Radhanagari police, three tourists went to take bath in backwaters and while taking bath, all of them drowned following not able to judge properly the deep of the water.
The deceased decided to take meal at the bank of backwaters at Olvan-Bhatwadi village and told the relatives to bring meal. When their relatives came with tge meal, they saw the bodies floating on the water.
