Maha: Shiv Sena (UBT) targets Narendra Modi, BJP

Mumbai, May 13 (UNI) Shiv Sena (UBT) has taken a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, arguing that "things that can be won by fighting cannot be achieved by chasing".
"The Indian Army sacrificed its heroes in the war, civilians lost their lives, but what did they get? Why were the Pakistanis left alive...? This is the question that Veer Savarkar's soul must be asking. Savarkar's dream of a unified Hindu nation would have been realised by now. Modi and his people have missed this opportunity," said an editorial in 'Samana', the party mouthpiece of Shiv Sena (UBT) on Tuesday.
It said that before stopping the war, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir should have been taken.
It also said that "as Modi and his people could not even realise the dream of Veer Savarkar and could not even immerse the ashes of Godse, we have decided to bring about the undivided India envisioned by Savarkar."
Veer Savarkar had given the mantra of breaking pens and taking up guns during the freedom struggle, but fake Savarkar devotees made the guns in the hands of the army fighting for an undivided India silent, said Samana.
"Veer Savarkar had defined a Hindu as someone who considers this land of India, which stretches from the Indus to the sea, as his fatherland and holy land. Savarkar was a supporter of Akhand Hindustan and PM Modi, Amit Shah, the ruling people of Maharashtra were supporters of Veer Savarkar's Akhand thought, but when that Akhand thought was coming into view, why did all these people eat their own words? This should be called a 'God Bengal'," said Samana.
"No one will donate an undivided Hindu nation. It will have to be achieved by fighting and waging war," it argued.
(Nathuram) Godse's thoughts got recognition during Modi's time, Godse's birth and death anniversaries are also being celebrated, but if the war had continued for another four days without accepting the ceasefire, then Kashmir, Lahore, Karachi could have been annexed to India and Godse's ashes could have been immersed, but Modi's devotees lost that virtue too, added Samana.
