Maha: Seven-year-old girl dies in leopard attack in Ahilyanagar

Ahilyanagar, Mar 27 (UNI) A seven-year-old girl died after being attacked by a leopard at Datta Mandir in Dhangarwadi Dighi Shivar in Rahata taluka of the district.
According to sources in Forest department, a leopard, lying in wait near Santosh Rashinkar's settlement at Dhangarwadi on the Wakdi-Dighi road, on Wednesday night at around 9 pm grabbed Santosh Rashinkar's daughter, Snehal Santosh Rashinkar, by the neck from near the watertank in front of the house and dragged her for about 100 to 150 feet.
After that, the residents in the area made a loud noise and the leopard ran away, leaving the girl behind. After that, the girl was rushed to Pravara Hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared her dead.
