Maha: Recruitment for 2,795 posts of Livestock Development Officers being held

Mumbai, Apr 26 (UNI) Recruitment is on for 2,795 posts of ‘Livestock Development Officer’ cadre in the Animal Husbandry Department of the Maharashtra Government.
Candidates can submit their applications for these posts from April 29, 2025 to May 19, 2025, according to information given by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission(MPSC) on Saturday through a press release.
On the demand of the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairying Development and Fisheries Department of the State Government, the MPSC has started the recruitment process for the post of Livestock Development Officer, Maharashtra Animal Husbandry Service, Group-A cadre.

14 teachers suspended in Beed for not submitting UDID certificates

Beed, Dec 6 (UNI) The Beed Zilla Parishad Education Department has suspended 14 teachers for failing to submit their UDID (Unique Disability ID) cards despite repeated orders.
The teachers were instructed to present valid certificates as part of an ongoing verification drive. Even after receiving multiple reminders and notices, these teachers did not comply with the directive, leading the department to initiate disciplinary action.

Mahaparinirvan Diwas 2025: Maharashtra leaders pay tributes to Dr B R Amberdkar on 69th death annivarsary

Mumbai, Dec 6 (UNI) Maharashtra’s senior political leadership visited Chaitya Bhoomi in Dadar on Saturday to pay homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and Governor Ramesh Bais offered floral tributes at the memorial. Opposition leaders also participated, with NCP founder Sharad Pawar and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray visiting the site to honor the architect of the Indian Constitution.
