Maha: PIL filed in HC on Aurangzeb tomb

Nashik, Mar 22 (UNI) A public interest litigation has been filed in the Bombay High Court seeking to remove the national protected monument status given to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb's tomb.
The petition, filed by social activist Ratan Lath here, has claimed that giving such status to the tomb of a tyrannical ruler is unconstitutional and wrong.
It stated that the national importance status was given to Aurangzeb's tomb without transparent criteria by misusing the law.
