Maha: Over 750 devotees leave for Ayodhya under Teerth Darshan Yojana

Nashik, Mar 18 (UNI) More than 750 senior citizens from the district left for Ayodhya from here by a special train under the Chief Minister's Teerth Darshan Yojana of the Social Justice Department on Tuesday afternoon.
The station area was decorated in an attractive manner with flowers and balloons. A red carpet was laid on the platform. The pilgrims were welcomed to the sound of drums. The pilgrims were registered and given identity cards and seated in the coaches. Passengers were arranged in 11 coaches.
Social Welfare Department Regional deputy commissioner Madhav Wagh, assistant commissioner Devidas Nandgaonkar and others flagged off the train.
