Maha: One more victim of local train accident dies, another on ventilator

Mumbai, June 19 (UNI) The death toll from the June nine suburban train accident near Mumbra railway station climbed to five on Thursday after 51-year-old Anil More succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at a private hospital, an official said on Thursday.
More passed away at approximately 11 am, confirmed Thane Tehsildar Umesh Patil. His death adds to the four fatalities recorded on the day of the tragedy, when overcrowding caused passengers to fall from a moving local train during morning peak hours between Diva and Mumbra stations.
Another injured commuter, 40-year-old Shiva Gavli, remains in critical condition and is currently on ventilator support at the hospital, Patil stated.
