Maha Minority Commission Chairman calls for modernisation of madrasas

Kolhapur, Apr 29 (UNI) Maharashtra State Minority Commission Chairman Pyare Jiha Khan has said that since modern education can develop the country and society, the scheme of modernisation of madrasas should be implemented effectively. Along with Urdu, the Hindi, English and Marathi languages ​​should be taught in madrasas, he said.
The Minority Commission Chairman said it is necessary to provide quality education for the progress of the country and for the upliftment of the minority communities including Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Jains, Sikhs, Parsis and others.
He said emphasis will be placed on implementing a comprehensive education system for the boys and girls of these communities.
