Maha: Minister inaugurates 'Dakkhan Jatra' in Sangli

Sangli, Mar 16 (UNI) Through the 'Dakkhan Jatra' (fair), the women self-help groups will be encouraged to become financially self-reliant, asserted Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister, Chandrakant Patil, on Sunday.
Presiding over inaugural function of the divisional exhibition and sale of women's self-help groups' products and rural farmers' products under Dakkhan Jatra 2025 here, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented various schemes to make women financially independent.
Through the 'Dakkhan Jatra' (fair), the products of women self-help groups have got a proper market, he said.
