Pune, Feb 9 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister of State for Urban Development, Madhuri Misal, on Sunday called for creating awareness amongst the youngsters about the importance and the benefits of the joint family.
Addressing a function organised to mark inauguration of Nav Taz Dham, an old age home with good facilities at Ambi village near Talegaon, she said, "In the past few decades with urbanisation and changes in living culture or traditions, we have witnessed a shift from joint family culture to a nuclear family.
