Maha Minister Abitkar says cashless treatment up to Rs 1 lakh will be provided for accident victims

Mumbai, Apr 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Prakash Abitkar on Friday directed that the Public Health Department should take action to provide cashless treatment up to Rs 1 lakh for accident victims from approved and other emergency hospitals.
He also said that hospitals, society officials and implementing agencies should be strictly vigilant to ensure that patients get timely, quality and cashless treatment. He warned of strict action against those who do wrong.
He was speaking during a review meeting of the functioning of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana at the headquarters of the State Health Guarantee Society in Worli, Mumbai.
