Maha: Leopard attacks, injures farmer in Nashik

Nashik, Feb 10 (UNI) A leopard hiding in a field at Khadak Ojar village in Chandwad taluka of the district attacked and injured a farmer today.
Farmer Bhagwant Govind Chaudhary was picking grapes in the farm in afternoon, when the leopard hiding in the field attacked him from behind. Fortunately, although his life was saved, he suffered major injuries on his stomach, back and hands.
Hearing his cries for help, the citizens of the area came running and tried to search for the leopard, whe leopard ran away from the field.
