Maha Kumbh witnesses rare devotion of women to Sanatan Dharma

Prayagraj, Feb 9 (UNI) The ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj marks a historic chapter for Sanatan Dharma, with unprecedented participation from women and youth as they are embracing its values and leading the way.
Maha Kumbh is also making history with increased women’s involvement in Akhadas, reflecting a growing interest of 'Matri Shakti' (women’s power) in Sanatan traditions.
For the first time in Mahakumbh history, 246 women have taken Naga Sannyasini initiation at Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhada, marking the highest number to date. In comparison, the 2019 Kumbh saw 210 women initiated.

Haryana Assembly passes bill for dead body disposal, regulating travel agents

Chandigarh, Mar 26 (UNI) Four Bills, including those on disposal of dead bodies and regulating travel agents, were cleared by the Haryana Assembly on Wednesday.
The legislations include Haryana Honourable Disposal of Dead Body Bill, 2025, Haryana Registration and Regulation of Travel Agents Bill and Haryana Prevention of Public Gambling Bill.
