Maha: Kolhapur court awards lifer to 3 for murder of their friend

Kolhapur, Mar 20 (UNI) The district and sessions court on Thursday sentenced three people, accused of having murdered their friend at Manoli in Shahuwadi area of the city in September 2019, to imprisonment for life.
According to Public prosecutor Ms Manjusha Patil, the deceased, identified as Santosh Mohan Tadake (35) of Ichalkaranji town in the district, used to constantly trouble Sanjay Sharad Shendge (33), one of the accused (4th) but died during the case hearing.
Upset over this, Shendge called Santosh at Manoli for a party and brutally murdered him with the help of other three friends (accused) with sharp weapons and then threw his body in a deep valley.

Norms for killing aggressive leopards, tigers to be relaxed soon: Minister Ganesh Naik
