Maha: Jain community leader warns of state-wide agitation if demolished Jain temple not built at same site

Pune, Apr 23 (UNI) Jain spiritual leader Vinod Sankla-Jain on Wednesday threatened to launch a statewide agitation if 1008 Digamber Jain temple in Mumbai, demolished by the Brihanmumbai civic authorities, is not built by the Mahayuti government at the same site soon.
He has also written to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to register a criminal case against the official involved in demolition of old Jain temple.
He asked how the temple was demolished on April 16, before the high court could hear the appeal to stay demolition.
