Maha: INCOIS warns of high waves off Konkan coast

Mumbai, June 23 (UNI) The Indian National Ocean Information Service (INCOIS) on Monday warned the people and tourists to stay away from the Konkan coast due to high waves off the coast from 5.30 pm today till 8.30 pm on June 25.
It has also advised fishermen having small boats not to go into the sea.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in coastal districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, along with Pune Ghat and Satara Ghat areas, in the state for next 24 hours.
