Maha: Hiraman Khoskar joins NCP-AP

Mumbai, Oct 15 (UNI) Former Congress MLA from Igatpuri assembly constituency, Hiraman Khoskar, has joined Ajit Pawar-led NCP faction, along with her supporters, on Monday night in Pune ahead of upcoming Maharashtra Assembly election.
She was suspended from the Congress party for six years for her anti-party activities during the Lok Sabha election.
In an official press statement, MPCC president Nana Patole announced her suspension, stating that he took this action on instructions of party state in-charge Ramesh Chennithala due to her anti-party activities.

Mumbai airport staffer arrested for attempting to smuggle gold worth Rs 2 66 crore
