Maha govt to provide funds of about Rs. 330 Cr for construction of various buildings in the premises of Govt Engineering College: minister

Kolhapur, June 12 (UNI) Maharashtra Higher & Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil today said that the government will provide funds of about Rs. 330 crore for construction of various state-of-the-art buildings in the premises of Government Engineering College (GEC) as per the revised approval of the government and assured that there will be no shortage of funds at all.
Presiding over a review meeting held at the Nature Park of the Government Engineering College here, Patil said that the Public Works Department will spend Rs 4 crore and the Higher Technical Education Department will spend Rs 5 crore to provide permanent water supply in this new building.
Also, about 350 professors have been recruited in the Higher Technical Education Department through MPSC.
