Maha govt to officially observe Ajitdada Pawar's birth anniversary

Mumbai, July 15 (UNI) The Maharashtra government has decided to officially observe the birth anniversary of veteran leader late Ajitdada Anantrao Pawar by including it in the state's list of birth anniversaries of national leaders and eminent personalities to be commemorated from 2026.
A Government Resolution issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) on Wednesday stated that Late Ajitdada Pawar's birth anniversary will be observed across Maharashtra on July 22 every year.
As part of the official observance, floral tributes will be paid to his portrait at Mantralaya and at all government and semi-government offices. Educational institutions across the state, including schools and colleges, have also been directed to organise commemorative programmes on the occasion.
