Maha: Governor calls for promotion of tourism in India & Japan

Mumbai, Feb 11 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan said on Tuesday that cultural, spiritual and philosophical relations between India and Japan have been strong for many centuries and suggested to promote tourism, especially spiritual as well as medical, in both countries.
Speaking at a function organised on occasion of the 65th birthday of Japan's Emperor Naruhito by the
Consulate of Japan in Mumbai at Hotel Taj Mahal, he said that the relationship between India and Japan is important in terms of nature and politics, and today economic, trade and international cooperation between the two countries has reached new heights.
