Maha: Farmer injured in leopard attack in Nashik

Nashiki, Feb 12 (UNI) A 44-year-old farmer was injured after being attacked by a leopard in Dindori taluka of the district today.
Farmer Tanaji Khanderao Jondhale was watering his wheat field adjacent to Mumbai-Agra Highway in Jaulke Dindori Shivara in Dindori taluka in the morning. At that time, a leopard suddenly came from the front and attacked Jondhale.
When Jondhale resisted, the enraged leopard tried to bite him on the back. At this time, his wife, who was with Tanaji Jondhale, screamed, causing the leopard to flee in the nearby field. The injured Tanaji Jondhale was admitted to Nashik Civil Hospital for treatment. He is undergoing treatment. The attack by the leopard has spread panic among the farmers in the Jaulke Dindori area.
