Maha: DCM Shinde justifies hike in ST bus fare

Kolhapur, Jan 25 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde justified hike in State Transport (ST) bus fare that came into effect from Saturday in the state, saying that the government has increased bus fare for first time after many years in order to provide good facilities to the passengers.
Talking to reporters after offering prayers to Goddess Shree Mahalaxmi at temple here, he said that with the blessings of Goddess Mahalaxmi, Ladki Bahinis (dear sisters) and farmers, the Mahayuti has got huge success in recent assembly elections and retained power in the state.
He reiterated that the state government would continue with its famous 'Ladki Bahin' yojana.
