Maha: CR makes special arrangements for comfortable & hassle-free travel for Maha Kumbh

Mumbai, Feb 16 (UNI) The Central Railway has introduced comprehensive arrangements, including special train services, enhanced passenger amenities and extensive crowd management strategies across its network in a bid to ensure a seamless and convenient travel experience for devotees travelling to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh 2025.
To accommodate the surge in passengers, the CR has scheduled 42 special train services for Maha Kumbh.
CR has implemented enhanced passenger facilities and crowd management measures at many stations such as 'May I Help You’ booths to assist passengers, additional ticket counters, dedicated holding areas at major stations for waiting passengers, controlled access to escalators and lifts to prevent overcrowding, unidirectional movement on FOBs using dividers to streamline passenger flow and real-time crowd management through coordinated CCTV monitoring and announcements, said a press release.
