Maha: Cowherd and two animals charred by fire

Ahilyanagar, Mar 20 (UNI) A cowherd and two animals were found dead when a fire broke out on Brahmandara Mountain in Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar district, police said on Thursday.
According to information received from the Ghargaon Police, Sitaram Tukaram Jadhav (53) from Mhaswandi had gone to the Brahmandara mountain in the area to graze the animals on Tuesday (18). However, when Jadhav did not return home even after evening, his brother and family members started searching the area. But the mountain had caught fire. Due to this, they went to the mountain again on Wednesday morning to search.
Meanwhile, the villagers got the news that Jadhav and the two animals had died in the fire. Police rushed to the spot and send the body to Ghulewadi Cottage Hospital for autopsy. UNI RDS XC SSP

Sub-inspector caught red-handed taking bribe in Mau

Mau, Nov 07 (UNI) In a major action by the Anti-Corruption Organization Team, Sub-Inspector Ajay Singh of Haladhar Pur police station was caught red-handed on Friday evening while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000. The arrest took place around 4 pm at a juice shop located next to the police station. The team immediately took the accused officer to Dakshin Tola police station for questioning. News of his arrest created a stir within the police department.
