Maha: Congress forms committee to inspect riot-affected area of ​​Nagpur

Mumbai, Mar 20 (UNI) On instructions of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Harshvardhan Sapkal, a committee was formed on Thursday to inspect the violence-hit areas in Nagpur city and to establish peace through discussion with the locals.
An official media statement stated that the reputation of Maharashtra has been tarnished due to the violent incident that took place in Nagpur on Monday night.The incident of stone pelting and arson is very unfortunate, and some forces are trying to disturb the peace in Maharashtra, it said and called for maintaining peace and social harmony in Maharashtra.
This committee will visit the riot-affected areas, inspect the situation and try to establish peace, it added.

Cases filed against BJP, Congress leaders and workers over clash
