Maha: Chalwadi Education Society organises welcome camp Warkari devotees in Pune

Pune, Jul 10 (UNI) As chants of "Dnyanoba-Tukaram" and "Vitthal Vitthal" echoed across Pune at the ongoing annual Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage, the Chalwadi Education Society continued its long-standing tradition of serving thousands of Warkari devotees with warmth and devotion.
At Alandi Road in Vishrantwadi, near the HDFC Bank, the society, led by its Vice President and BJP-RPI alliance leader Advocate Renuka Chalwadi-Shirke, today organized a welcome camp for the pilgrims participating in the Palkhi procession. Volunteers distributed travel bags, biscuits, and safe drinking water to the Warkaris, offering much-needed support to devotees undertaking the long journey on foot to the temple town of Pandharpur in Solapur district.
The service initiative was attended by Dr. Hulgesh Chalwadi, President of the Chalwadi Education Society and State Vice President of the Republican Party of India (RPI), along with social activists Swapnil Shirke and Akash Chalwadi.
