Maha: Bawankule constitutes SIT to probe 'MHADA Reservation' irregularities in Nashik

Nashik, Apr 13 (UNI) Taking cognizance of the gravity of the alleged irregularities observed in implementation of 20 per cent MHADA quot reserved for Economically Weake r Sections (EWS) and Low-Income Groups (LIG) in city, Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule today announced the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT), comprising high-ranking officials, to probe alleged irregularities.
Issuing a stern warning that "no individual—no matter how influential—who exploits the poor or usurps their rights will be spared", he said that the SIT would conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the matter over the coming month.
The minister said that he has established the SIT, under the chairmanship of the Nashik Divisional Commissioner, on the directives of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis,
