Maha: Army soldier from Kolhapur dies hero's death in Arunachal

Kolhapur, Mar 14 (UNI) An Army soldier from the district who was engaged in a road construction work in Arunachal Pradesh, died a hero's death after his bulldozer fell in a deep valley of about 400 to 500 feet on Friday.
According to the reports, the deceased soldier, identified as Sunil Vitthal Gujar (27, resident of Malkapur in Shahuwadi tehsil of the district), was posted in Arunachal Pradesh on India-China border as a bulldozer operator in 2019 after completion of his training at Bombay Engineering Group in Pune.
Sunil was on duty engaged in road-cutting work with an army bulldozer today, when the vehicle collapsed in a deep valley of about 400 to 500 feet.

After complaints, Maha CM Fadnavis directs monitoring of charitable hospitals

Mumbai, April 23 (UNI)The Maharashtra government has taken serious note of complaints that treatment is not being provided in some hospitals without taking a deposit. Instructions have been given to form a special inspection team in coordination with the Charity Commissioner, Health Department and Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Cell to monitor charitable hospitals.
