Maha: Amit Shah blames Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar for split in their parties

Bhandara, Apr 14 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Union Home minister Amit Shah on Sunday denied allegations levelled by Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeary and NCP (SP) Sharad Pawar that BJP was responsible for split in their parties.
Addressing an election campaign rally at Sakoli in Bhandara Lok Sabha constituency in support of party
candidate and sitting MP Sunil Mendhe, he claimed that due to Uddhav Thackeray's love for his son Aaditya and Sharad Pawar's love for his daughter Supriya Sule led to split in their parties.
Targeting Sharad Pawar, Shah questioned about Pawar's contribution as Agriculture minister of the country for Maharashtra.
On the contrary, the BJP government has had provided more funds than previous UPA government, he claimed.
During the UPA government, Maharashtra got Rs 1.91 lakh crore for the state in 10 years, while the Modi government provided Rs 7.15 lakh crore for the state, he said.
The Home minister admitted that BJP used majority for scrapping Article 370, abolishing triple talaq and assured that BJP will not misuse power for change of Constitution and tweaking reservation.
The party will respect Constitution, he asserted.
Making a frontal attack on Congress, Shah claimed that the dynastic parties had not done anything for the country except for their own benefit.
He also claimed that the Congress party defeated Dr B R Ambedkar twice in past elections and did not honour him with Bharat Ratna award.
He highlighted a number of welfare schemes undertaken by the BJP government for poor in the country.
Shah also highlighted numbers of welfare schemes undertaken by the BJP government for poor in the country and said that BJP-Shinde Sena and NCP (Ajit Pawar) can only work for development of the state.
He appealed electorate to vote for Mendhe in Lok Sabha elections, which will help to make Narendra Modi as prime minister for third time, he added.
