Patna, Jan 18 (UNI) The BJP slammed the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind national president Maulana Mahmood Madani, on Sunday accusing him of viewing every issue through a “religious lens” and ignoring humanity and human values.

He alleged that Madani selectively raises concerns and remains silent on incidents of religious violence outside India.
Iqbal said that when religious extremism spreads in Bangladesh, temples are attacked and minorities face atrocities, Maulana Madani does not speak out. “His pen runs dry at such times" said Iqbal questioning whether the Hindus killed in Bangladesh are not human beings?
