LVPEI hosts 6th annual 'Whitathon' run for awareness of Retinoblastoma treatment

Hyderabad, May 19 (UNI) L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) on Sunday organised sixth edition of the ‘Whitathon’ run to raise awareness about early detection of retinoblastoma (eye cancer) in children and to fund its treatment.
The event was held to commemorate World Retinoblastoma Awareness Week, which starts on second Sunday of May every year.
The run was flagged off by Dr Vineeth G, deputy commissioner of police – Madhapur Zone, at the University of Hyderabad, Gachibowli.
