LS Speaker praises PM Modi’s commitment to parliamentary democracy in letter shared on X

‎New Delhi, March 15 (UNI) ‎Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Sunday praised Narendra Modi for his commitment to parliamentary traditions and democratic values, saying the Prime Minister’s message reflects the highest ethical standards of public service and will inspire elected representatives across the country to rise above partisan divides.

In a post on X, Birla said he had received a letter from the Prime Minister and expressed appreciation for Modi’s long-standing faith in the principles and practices of India’s parliamentary system. “You have always had unwavering faith in the rules, procedures and traditions of India’s parliamentary democracy,” Birla wrote, adding that the letter reflected the values the Prime Minister had upheld throughout his public life.
