Lokayukta raids Aurad agri officer over DA charges in Bidar

Bidar (Karnataka) , Oct 14 (UNI) The Lokayukta police today conducted simultaneous raids at four locations linked to Agriculture Department officer Dhoolappa Hosale, who serves as the Assistant Director of Agriculture at Aurad, on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The raids were carried out early in the morning at Hosale's residences in Karadyal, Mudhol, and Guru Nanak Colony in Bidar, along with his office in the Aurad Agriculture Department. Sources said the operation aimed to uncover evidence of alleged wealth accumulation beyond his legitimate income.
The search teams reportedly examined documents, property records, and valuables to assess the extent of the officer's assets. Officials indicated that the searches would help determine whether the assets were acquired legally or through corrupt practices.
