Lingaraja Patil resigns as Karnataka BJP disciplinary committee chief over ticket dispute

Hubballi, March 11(UNI) Lingaraja Patil has resigned as the State President of the Disciplinary Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Karnataka, citing dissatisfaction with the party’s decision on the ticket for the Western Graduates’ Constituency.
Sources said Patil stepped down after the party leadership finalised its candidate for the constituency without considering his claim.
He was among the aspirants seeking the party nomination for the Legislative Council election from the Western Graduates’ Constituency, which includes districts such as Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, and Uttara Kannada.
