Lightning kills 11 cattle head in Chamba; woman also injured

Chamba (HP), Oct 7(UNI) At least 11 cattle head were killed by lightning in Kilod panchayat of Kihar area of Chamba district. A woman also sustained injuries to her arm following lightning.
The woman was rushed to Civil Hospital Kihar for treatment, from where she was referred to Medical College Chamba after first aid. She is in a stable condition there, said an official spokesman.
Due to two days of continuous heavy rain, lightning suddenly struck Adhwari, Thatidhar, Kilod Panchayat, early morning today.
