Light rains likely in parts of Andhra as cyclonic circulation persists

Amaravati, Nov 9 (UNI) The upper air cyclonic circulation lying over North Tamil Nadu and its surrounding regions at around 3.1 km above mean sea level continues to persist, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.
In its daily weather report, the department stated that the trough extending from the southwest Bay of Bengal to Kerala across Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu at 0.9 km above mean sea level has become less marked. The Northeast monsoon remains weak over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema.
Light to moderate rain is likely at one or two places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days, and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the next three days.
