LG Sinha visits Baltal base camp to review arrangements for Amarnath pilgrims

Srinagar, June 25 (UNI) Ahead of the commencement of the annual Amarnath Yatra, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Baltal base camp of Amarnath Yatris in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday and reviewed the security and other arrangements for the pilgrimage.
The 52-day-long Amarnath Yatra will commence on June 29 from the twin routes of Baltal in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and Pahalgam in south Kashmir.
Lt. Governor Sinha directed senior officers of the administration, SASB, police, security forces, and other stakeholder departments to coordinate with each other for better security and Yatra management.
