Laying foundation for GP, Anganwadi buildings soon: Minister Seethakka

Hyderabad, June 22 (UNI) In a significant push toward strengthening rural infrastructure, Telangana's Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department has achieved record progress in identifying sites for the construction of new Gram Panchayat (GP) and Anganwadi buildings in the first quarter of the financial year.
Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka announced that the foundation stone for the new buildings will be laid soon, with efforts already underway to ensure early commencement of construction.
With the government aiming to construct two GP buildings and two Anganwadi centres in each mandal, site identification — a major bottleneck in the past — was prioritised this year.
