Lawngtlai NCORD reviews anti-drug drive, calls for stronger awareness push

Aizawl, Dec 11 (UNI) The Narco Coordination (NCORD) Committee of Lawngtlai district convened on Thursday to assess the progress of ongoing operations aimed at curbing drug trafficking from Myanmar, with officials underscoring the need for greater public awareness alongside enforcement.
Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Donny Lalruatsanga at the DC’s Conference Hall, the meeting opened with an appeal for continued vigilance.
Lalruatsanga thanked committee members for their dedication and stressed that NCORD’s work remains central to safeguarding young people and families from the growing threat of substance abuse.
