Lavrov to visit Mongolia on July 5

Moscow, July 4 (UNI/Sputnik) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to the Mongolian capital city of Ulaanbaatar on July 5, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
"On July 5, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov will pay a working visit to Ulaanbaatar at the invitation of Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh. An agreement in principle on this was reached by the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries during a telephone conversation on June 2," a statement read.
During the meeting, the foreign ministers will discuss issues on the bilateral agenda, the implementation of agreements at the highest and high levels on the further development of cooperation in trade, economic, transport, infrastructure, energy and humanitarian spheres, as well as strengthening cooperation in the international arena and in regional affairs, the Russian foreign ministry added.
