Lakhs of devotees witness Bahuda Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, his siblings

Puri, Jul 15 (UNI) The Grand Road popularly known as Badadanda, the venue of the Rath Yatra, turned on Monday into a sea of pilgrims as lakhs of devotees converged to witnessed Pahandi of the deities, and pulled the chariots to its destination Simhadwar of the main temple.
The Holy Trinity after enjoying nine days in their birthplace Gundicha ghar and enjoying the delicacies prepared by their mother Yashoda, embarked on a return journey to the main temple on Monday. The return ceremony is popularly called Bahuda yatra.
Since early morning, many devotees have been waiting for hours together behind the cordon ropes to witness the Pahandi of the deities.
