Lakhimpur implements 'Mission Maidan', which leads to higher attendance

Lakhimpur Kheri (UP), Mar 21 (UNI) Lakhimpur Kheri district has set an example by successfully implementing 'Mission Maidan', proving that the expansion of sports facilities in schools directly impacts student attendance and overall development, official sources said here on Friday.
Sources said that under the initiative launched at the behest of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the district has developed high-quality playgrounds in 1,000 council schools, enabling children to enhance their physical and mental well-being.
Sources said that the positive effects of Mission Maidan are visible, as Lakhimpur Kheri's Nipun Assessment rank has jumped from 72nd to 26th place. "Besides, student attendance has witnessed a remarkable 12 percent increase, rising from 57.24 percent last year to 69.40 percent at present," they said.
